Where family recipes live with family.

Grandma’s lasagna exists in exactly one place: her hands. OurFamilyTaste keeps the recipe, her way of telling it, and every taste the family adds — credited, kept together, and passed down.

What it’s for

OurFamilyTaste keeps every family recipe as a living page — the steps, the photos, the notes, and whose hands they passed through — so the dish and its story stay together. Grandma makes her lasagna, your mom adds her taste, you add yours, and every version is kept, credited to the person who made it what it is. When it’s time to cook, the app walks you through it hands-free, step by step, timers and all.

It’s not a feed of strangers’ recipes. It’s yours — a collection that grows more precious with every generation, kept with your family — we have no servers.

What the name means

Plainly what it is: your family, and its tastes — each person’s version of the dishes that made you, gathered in one place and kept in the family.

Read it like a book

Steps, photos, and notes woven onto one page — a recipe that reads like someone wrote it by hand, because someone did.

Every taste, credited

Every taste, credited

A taste is a version, not a rival recipe. Grandma’s, your mom’s, yours — each kept, each named for the person who made it.

Questions people ask

How is this different from a recipe app?
Recipe apps hand you strangers’ recipes. OurFamilyTaste keeps your family’s — each one a living page in the cook’s own words, with every family member’s taste kept and credited. It’s not for finding dinner; it’s for keeping the dishes that made you.
My mom isn’t good with apps. Will she manage?
It was designed for her first: big text, no login, no forms — she can speak a whole recipe in, in her own language, and the app writes it down.
Where are the recipes stored?
With your family — on your phones, shared directly to each other. We have no servers; we couldn’t read a recipe if we wanted to.
